Turtle Cake

Turtle Cake
1 bos German Chocolate cake mix
3 eggs 1 1/3c.water
1/3c.oil 14oz.bag caramels
1/2c.butter 1/2c.evaporated milk
chopped pecans
Frosting:
3/4 Tbsp. cocoa
6Tbsp. milk
1 stick margarine
1 box powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 to 1 c. chopped pecans
Mix together cake mix, eggs, water, and oil. Bake 1/2 of mixture in
sheet cake pan for 15 minutes at cake temperature directions. While
baking, melt caramels, butter and evaporated milk in microwave. Pour over
baked mixture. Then sprinkle 1 cup chocolate chips and 1 cup chopped
pecans and top with other 1/2 of cake mixture.
Frosting: Bring cocoa, milk, and margarine to a boil. Add powdered sugar
and vanilla. Mix well. Add pecans. Spread over cake.
